My Razer Seiren keeps disconnecting, but I don't know why. I will be talking to my friends in Discord, and suddenly they can't hear me. To solve this I can either take the plug out and put it back in again, or I can reselect the microphone in Voice settings. This happens in Teamspeak as well. I have tried formatting my drives and installing latest drivers, so it's not all that likely that it's a software issue. My theory is that it's getting too little power from the usb port. Would getting a powered USB hub fix this?

Solution
I was going to say the reverse, some usb devices simply do not like it when connected to usb 3.0 ports.
So if the headset is using a usb 3.0 port you should check to see if the headset is compatible with a usb 3.0 specification port or a Usb 2.0 port.

Razer drivers can be quiet fickle in my experience of them, when the the hardware is new.
I v`e had a few Razer mouses that used to do the same thing when running off early driver versions for the hardware.
Where the mouse would just decide to disconnect and not respond.

Or sometimes when I booted the system the mouse simply was not there, or had no power or light`s on it.
And I would have to often try it in a few USB ports of the system before I got it to behave right and stop...

I suggest you try the headset if it uses USB on various usb ports of your system.
And check for any Razer driver software updates.

One more thing, if your board supports fast usb charging on the usb 3.0 spec ports try disabling the option of fast charging, and or any turbo mode or enhanced mode of the usb 3.0 ports if using them with the headset.
