Razer Synapse causes my USB ports to freeze when gaming, forcing me to restart as my keyboard and mouse do not respond. This only happens when I play a game, and in any game. Unplugging and plugging my peripherals back in (to either 3.0 or 2.0 ports too) doesn't fix the issue when it happens. My keyboard is unrelated to Razer, however my mouse is a Mamba. I uninstalled synapse and the issue wont happen. I made sure my motherboard bios and drivers are up to date, this build is fairly new but the issue didn't start up till recently out of nowhere. I'd like to get this resolved as I like to use synapse for my custom profiles and changing DPI.

For reference my specs are:
Windows 10 Home Edition
ASUS ROG STRIX X99 Gaming LGA2011
Intel Core i7 6800k (3.4Ghz)
32GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 1 DDR4
Corsair HX1000 PSU
ASUS 1080 STRIX OC Edition

What are your BIOS USB Configuration settings? Are you running the latest BIOS version? Have you installed all the latest updates from windows and have installed the latest drivers from the appropriate manufacturers websites (asus, intel, asmedia, etc)? Do you have a virus? Did you short circuit something during the building process? Have you tested your Hard Drive/RAM ('s) for errors? Does your mom dress you funny? These are all contributing factors in troubleshooting. Especially if your mom dresses you funny. (please attach pictures)

Have you tried reinstalling windows yet? I would do a fresh Clean install of Windows. Back up important folders/files first, have your drivers ready, boot from UEFI, delete system partitions, format and allow Windows to recreate the system partitions.

Then allow Windows to update and restart etc. Then install all your motherboard drivers and go from there. (windows updates, drivers, utilities, then your programs and finally your games last). Exception to that rule is if windows doesn't have Internet access from lack of driver support.

If all else fails remember that Microsoft hates you and wants to kill all your dreams while raking you over the piping hot coals of misery and sorrow.

I'm having the same issue on an Asus X99 deluxe. Seems to possibly be an issue with synapse and ASMedia USB chips.
