razer synapse razer hate

Ok, I have avoided buying anything razer for this long because I just have no cared about anything they offer and using Madcatz and Logitech. But I broke down today and bought a razer blackwidow chroma because it looked neat and I really liked the features of it. but I get it home and plug it in only yo realize that I need to install this razer synapse thing first and that it requires internet. No big deal..... other then it seems to think I don't have internet and I can not get it to think otherwise and razer ignores the issue and the only thing I have found from other people that has worked is installing it on a clean boot. Now I would rether break it in half and throw it out the window and be out that $200 I just spent then reinstall my entire system for a razer product but the features I want on the keyboard do not work till I get the program installed.

Now is there a way that I can install this or do I just need to return it and keep using my Stryke 7?

I installed Razer Synapse back when they first offered it free to see what all the fuss was about with the tun-able directional audio software that's supposed to make enemies easier to hear.

I recall it isn't fully installed until you see it as an audio device on your PC. What's weird is initially it seemed to install OK, but I ran into problems trying to reinstall it after finding uninstalling it didn't solve the audio problems I was getting in YouTube.

The reinstall process was much harder, but eventually I got it installed. I'm sorry but I don't recall exactly what was the trick to get it installed, but I think if you have any problems you're better off completely uninstalling it and going to Razer's site and downloading Synapse 2.0.

razer synapse is buggy as hell, espicially on mac, the 'custom' profiles sometimes dont register and sometimes dont even take action,
sometimes when you enter your details (email and password) in the login screen the app,it would just magically refresh even though you know you have entered the correct details, it has a mind of its own;
I re-installed it THREE times and the same problems re-appear; so i jsut gave up on its shitty application, and im stuck with a razer mouse changing color feature, when Sometimes i prefer a static orange color, but since it wont even let me log in i lost faith in this shitty app plagued with bugs for the mac side at least ( and when I do long in, a few hours later the profiles will reset with no explanation :/ )
