Razer taipan sensors do not respond to movement

as the title says my razer taipan doesnt respond to movement anymore , the buttons work fine but when i move it nothing happens.. i tried reinstalling synapse , without synapse , other system and different ports on my own pc. so does anyone else have a possible solution to my problem ?

I would try cleaning the laser eye with a Q-tip and a bit of Isopropyl Alcahol. Also you want to make sure that the laser light is on , if it's off then it may be broken or burnt out.

to be honest i never had any light on the underside of the mouse.. is it possible they dont use a light like optical mouses have ?

I've just had this issue happen with me. Bought the Taipan about a week ago, turned the pc on yesterday to find the mouse just didn't move. All buttons work but i just can't get the mouse pointer to move. I've tried to clean it best i can, and tried different usb ports and even other machines but still no joy.

Did you have any luck fixing yours? or does anyone know of any steps i should try.

I'm most likely going to have to send it back i think but i just wanted to see if there was any fixes out there before i do.

sadly enough my sollution was RMA the mouse , and even my new one got some quirks but still looking into that....
