Razer Tiamat 7.1 USB problem.

Hello community,

I have a problem with my new Razer Tiamat 7.1 headset which came to me today.
When I plug in the headset to the USB 2.0-3.0 port (doesnt matter which one) my pc after 2-3 second turn off itself. I have no idea what's wrong because the rest of my Razer hardware which are Razer Ouroboros mice and Razer Deathstalker Expert keyboard works perfectly.

I havn't plugged the audio channels (this headset has 5 channels and needs sound card with 7.1 to works as surround, but still I should use it as stereo 2.0) before USB.

There is my motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H67MA-USB3-B3.
I have all the USB drivers installed.
Please help me because I spend a lot for that headset and I wont say NO to it.

To me it sounds like your audio driver is switching away from USB back to one of the analog outputs.

Thanks for hasty reply. So regarding to your post, what should I do to make things right? Or at least try to?

Could also be the hub having too many USB devices on it, and not having enough power to drive the headset properly.

I had last headset plugged in here and everything was just fine.

^^ Could draw a different amount of current. My gaming mouse uses 50mA over the bus. The standard Microsoft one draws 250mA. And each bus can only handle about 500mA or so. Just try using a different USB hub and see if it starts working.
