For about $20 you can have a smart light strip you can wrap around and behind your monitor that you can control with your phone and not Razer's horrid Synapse software suite and is USB powered for no wires visible (if your monitor has a USB hub).

Be glad you only have to have one version. I have the "older" Razer BlackWidow X Ultimate which doesn't support the new Synapse so I have to use the 2.21 version as well as the newer Synapse 3 for my Razer Naga X.
