Hello good people,
A while ago I bought the Razor Deathadder Left Handed Edition with my new PC. I love the ergonomics and the sensitivity, all in all it's a great mouse. However, since the beginning there are certain games that directly seem to access the hardware configuration of the mouse rather than the software. The problem with this is that I am used to operating a mouse as a right handed person would (since 99% of the other mouses are right handed this is the easiest overall way to operate it). I have tried the following:
- Change the settings in windows (this works within windows, switching primary and secondary buttons)
- Change the settings in Razor Synapse 2.0 (this does not seem to do anything for me in-game)
- Check the internet for a solution but I cannot seem to find one
The main problem is that many games do not recognize the (software) changes I made. I can of course switch the primary and secondary games in the game itself again, but operating the menu remains the same and is very annoying to say the least. The games I am having issues with are among others: Battlefield 3, Far Cry 3/4, Tomb Raider and Metro last light. For some reason all Blizzard games DO recognize the fact that it is configured as a right handed mouse.
Is there any way I can make the problematic games recognize the changes I made to my mouse so it recognizes it as a right handed mouse?
In other words: Can I make this mouse a right handed mouse?
Thanks a lot in advance!
