Question RCA Maven Pro Stuck at Account Verification

My mother's RCA Maven Pro tablet was stuck at the boot screen and I was only able to find one method to fix it, by performing a factory reset. I am now at the Account Verification screen where it says:

This device was reset. To continue, sign in with a Google Account that was previously synced on this device.

When I enter in her account details, it repeatedly brings me back to the first page of the Account Verification. The device was purchased new from Walmart and there has only ever been one account used on this device and I created it specifically for this tablet. I have also tried using a bypass APK file on a USB drive, as well as going into the Google Keyboard Settings "Help and feedback", but both do nothing.

I have also read that this Account Verification step should only be seen if the device had a lock screen enabled when it was factory reset, which it never has, so I have no idea why I am even seeing this step.

Are there any other options that I may not have discovered? Thanks.

As we have no means to verify the legal ownership of the device in question, we can't help you bypass the security measures on the tablet.

You need to work this out with RCA.
