Re. ATI Radeon 9700 Pro O/C

Hello,

I have been quite happy with my ATI Radeon 9700 Pro for quite some time now... but recently I've gotten it into my head to overclock this card. I do not wish to change any voltages nor install any new heatsinks/cooling solutions. What kind of clock frequencies can people get for this card with stock cooling/voltages etc... I wish to overclock this card safetly... wishing to minimize any form of damage.

I welcome your input and expertise.

Well the 9700 pro is bios locked and cannot OC it. Would have to install hacked bois for the 9700pro to up the clock. Look around on www.rage3d.com on this...

9700pro bios is not locked, 9700np bios is locked. Just use Rage3d or Radclocker and start tweaking the card, until it locks up in 3d applications that's when you gotta back down the frequencies.
