I have an H81M-E/M51AD/DP_MB MOBO.
It is technically an H81M-E board, but doesn't have the AI Tweaker options in the BIOS.
This board came from a stock ASUS pre-built machine and in the BIOS says it's version is "KS0AD_M31AD_M51AD" instead of "H81M-E". Is there any way to flash the original BIOS over this "locked" one I have? Thanks for the help guys!

You might be able to get the BIOS unlocked if you Google the BIOS mods forum. You can upload your ROM there and they might be able to enable OC options.

Beware: If it goes wrong, this can ruin your BIOS and render your system useless, if it goes wrong you'll need a replacement BIOS chip or a new motherboard.

I can tell you this first hand, today I flashed a new BIOS designed to enable extra options and now my system will not boot, in fact, it won't even post and the BIOS recovery procedure isnt working. Since I have such a rare motherboard, I'm looking down the barrel of a whole new board and CPU combo. Meantime I am stuck in the hell that is borrowing an ancient Pentium for the next few months. All because I flashed a bad BIOS.

My beautiful i7 with brand new NVIDIA 970 graphics card is now a very expensive paperweight. Beware BIOS flashing, beware!

...and do it at your own risk and liability!
