RE-Install drive after motherboard failure

After Dell M5030 seven beeps failute, I removed hard drive and bought a new external drive. Noticed I have recovery information and other disk data on two partitions. Can someone help me with loading both on my external drive. What do I do with the recovery data...

You are better to buy the Internal Hard Drive only for installing the OS. Then using the recovery feature to reinstall the OS. I add the link for win8 but it is similar for other OS too. http://www.dell.com/support/article/us/en/19/SLN153569/en

Thanks for your answer. I still nneed to resolve 7 beeps issue. Not sure of rhe cause...any more suggestions?

7 beeps related to CPU or a motherboard failure, according the manual. You need contact dell if it is still under warranty.
