Re-Installed Vista with a Dell Backup disk on a HP Computer

As far as i can tell it worked. I had a backup disk of Vista for a Dell. Someone wanted me to work on their computer for them and the harddrive was failing. So got a new harddrive, but they couldn't find their backup disk. So i installed it using the dell disk, but activated Vista using the Product code on the side of the machine. It said Vista activated, but the Hp is now recognized as a Dell machine. It's a very old computer, so it's not like this a huge concern, I'm just worried about the product activation affecting the other computer the Dell disk came from.
Like i said, it's registered under the machines Product code, but still, any info would be useful.

It will be fine because you used the code from the hp.

It won't affect the license on the dell.

The branded install media just labeled it a dell , but the license is all that matters

Thanks. I figured it wasn't a problem, but the whole fact it's now recognized as a dell machine kinda threw me off
