re-soldering a ribbon cable problem on board

Its a HDD laptop ribbon cable to HDD Connector
I have un-soldered the ribbon cable and then I checked that none of the contacts where shorting
but the first 3 are shorting with at least the first contact
I'v cleaned it with the tools at hand sadly I dont have the right tools available but I have cleaned it to the best I can

but still with the shorting
at least I think its shorting

and only the first 3 are shorting, respectfully
the black is just burnt glue

-Iv used a multimeter to check if the pads a connected everything is fine but the first 3

Yes the question was, should the first 3 contacts be shorting

would the first 3 also be the power contacts?
