Hi,
I'm ready to build my new pc and I am using my SSD and HD from my old build.
I'm planning on re installing the OS on the SSD.
do i need to do any formatting of the SSD or do i set up the PC like a would if it was a new SSD?
I hope this question makes sense.

Just clean the SSD when you installing the windows. You can format it when get in windows installer setup.
