Hello all, I have recently bought a new HP 15s fq105tu laptop which comes with a 500gb SSD which is not quite big enough for me, so I bought a 1TB SSD and cloned the drive and swapped them over and it works fine no issue with the new drive.
I would like to reuse the 500GB SSD in an old laptop to give it a performance boost and increase its lifespan.
The problem is that the 500GB original SSD seems to be locked to the new laptop only and i can not access the drive to format it or clear it on any other machine except the new HP.
I have disabled TPM from the bIOS in the new HP and wiped/reinstalled windows 10 on the SSD hoping that i can remove any drive protections on it and get it to work with other computers but having no luck yet.
Is there any way that i can completely wipe the drive/OS & protections while it is installed in the new HP as it is inaccessible from any other computer?
