Re-Wiring a PC?

Hello,
I was not really sure where to put this, so I put it here. A few years back I built my first PC. Unfortunately, I did almost zero cable management. Now that I feel comfortable, I want to overclock my CPU, and I want better airflow in the case to keep the temps down. Are there any precautions I should take when re-wiring my computer? Can I unplug my sata cords from my boot drive ssd and hard drive, and then replug them in to the motherboard again with no effects? Thanks!

Make sure to unplug your power supply from the wall.

Ok thank you! I just wanted to be sure I didnt need to plug it into the same SATA port, or plug my SSD with my operating system on it into the motherboard before I plugged in my other harddrive. Thank you for the help.

On some motherboards it goes in boot order by the SATA ports so yes plug them back into the same ones.
It will still boot just the same but might take a fraction of a second longer.
