Question read dvd

My laptop windows 10 says nothing on disc. I have Vlc. The video plays green then all colours and flickering. Photos are ok.

Update your post to include full laptop specs.

Are there both videos (non-viewable) and photographs (viewable) on the same DVD?

What video is on the DVD - a movie, homemade video, etc.? What video format?

Where did the DVD come from?

Does the DVD work on other computers? Do other similar DVDs work on your laptop?

Is VLC up to date? Consider reinstalling.

Probably the part where the video was stored is damaged. Try cleaning the disk and try again.
