For the last few months, I've been sporatically getting Read-Only / File in Use errors on files when trying to access files (Excel/Quatro Documents mainly) from Shares (XP machines only atm).
They are not marked as read-only, nor are they actually in use by any other machine (I've checked every system physicall, and checked in the MMC under Open Sessions, etc etc). It seems to come an go. One day it works fine, then for a week there is no access, if I goto another machine, it may work fine, other machines, I get this error.
I've searched and searched, but I only seem to go around in circles, and have had no success with this.
If anyone has ever heard of this issue, or knows a fix, please let me know.
