I've been deciding to pick a ssd for my gaming needs. I've come across 2 ssd that seems to appeal to me, kingston hyperx savage 240gb and the samsung 850 evo 250 gb. Although the samsung ssd has 10 more gb for around the same price compared to the kingston ssd, the kingston ssd has 20 more mbps for read and 10 more mbps for write. Which would be better for gaming on games downloaded on the ssd?

Neither - SSDs don't affect games in a meaningful way other than load times, but that's only compared against a mechanical HDD. Between those two SSDs, I dare you to find a difference in everyday usage.

I would go with the Samsung for the money.

Those numbers will matter exactly zero either way.

What other drives will be in this system?
