if you arent going to crossfire, you might considr a 970 motherboard, but itherwise, it all looks good to me

I would spend a little more on a good power supply. CX600 is more budget oriented.

XFX 550W or Seasonic 620W would be a good match for a single GPU. If you plan to add another GPU later, go ahead and get a 750W-850W powersupply.

I'd change the PSU for something with more quality, because Corsair uses lower quality parts in their CX PSUs: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-power-supply-p1650xxxb9

Looks fine except I might look into a Western Digital hard drive as they are known to be more reliable than Seagate. Also you might get a cheaper mobo without SLI since your card is AMD.

I am on a fairly tight budget, but i will give these a look. Also isn't the xfx 550w not modular? (XFX
P1-550S-XXB9)

If you found an Asus M5A97 for the same price ($70), get the Asus.

I can't find the Asus for any less than $75. MSI use to have problems with their boards, but I know a lot of people who have used the G43 with no problems. They are about the same, just that 5 extra dollars for the Asus name.

I live in the UK (should have said) but the AS rock board is still cheap over here
And I've just realised the asus board was the Asus M5A97 LE R2.0, which is cheaper than the normal M5A97. Not sure if that makes it worse or something

Well my vote goes for the MSI. The AS Rock has a little bit more nasty reviews, the Asus is more expensive, and my friends and I use the MSI with no problems. Plus it overclocks very nicely, which I recall you said you would like to do in the future.
