Real Temp or Core Temp?

Just as title states, which one is better? I have a core i7-3820 Windows 7 64bit and i only want to use one of these programs just to monitor my CPU's temps thats it. What would you guys recommend if you are only looking to monitor temps?

I mainly use core temp so i would recommend it.

I don't use realtemp so i can't really criticize it but they should be roughly the same.

My personal preference of the two is CoreTemp. I can't speak for realtemp but I know Coretemp has a widget that you can run on your desktop. I like having that right there for an easy glance.

It will open a program which will download and install coretemp, don't worry, the program isn't a virus, just remember to decline all the other useless junk that the program will offer you to install.
