I'm looking to buy a Macbook pro for uni as a media student, would it be worth upgrading processor on a 15 inch from 2.2ghz to 2.5ghz or would not just save a few seconds in render times? Thanks

Name the models and i can give you a more further detailed comparison ^^

thanks for the help, wish i could afford the next model with the dedicated graphics but out of budget.

1) 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display - 2015
2.2GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7, Turbo Boost up to 3.4GHz
16GB 1600MHz DDR3L SDRAM
Intel Iris Pro Graphics

2) 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display - 2015
2.5GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7, Turbo Boost up to 3.7GHz
16GB 1600MHz DDR3L SDRAM
Intel Iris Pro Graphics

If I were you, id the difference in price is less than $50 then I would go with the faster one. Other than that, the difference in performance will be minimal

It would make a minor difference.
