Basically i will be playing at a steady smooth fps but then ill drop like 50-70 fps and then it will go back up. My friend has relatively the same build and no issues. Drivers are all up to date. I do have 1 144hz and 1 60hz monitor, and when I watch a video or something pops up on the other 60hz monitor i will get screen tearing on the 144hz. I tried plugging in the 60 to my motherboard but it didnt make a difference. Im not really sure whats wrong... I feel like it might be a connection issue with the graphics card and the motherboard because one time i was taking out the graphics card and half of it got stuck and i had to pull it out. I feel as though it might have damaged the card. Thanks for any and all help.

Have you overclocked the pc or changed anything in Bios?

Use HWmonitor or MSI Afterburner while playing games, to check usage on cpu, gpu, memory etc.
Run antivirus/malware program to check your pc for unwanted programs.
