really bad connection on pc only

this problem only started when i came back from a little holiday recently.

my ping would go from around 300 - 1100 in game

my internet speeds are 7 ping 100 download 20 upload

this problem is only happening on my pc all other devices is fine

im using a wired connection

have ran anti malware etc and no programs are running that would make me lag so much, pretty much im wondering if the problem could be my motherboard slowly dying or the certain Ethernet input thing dying

CPU: Intel i5 4460 Quad Core Processor

try another lan cable first and if you use onboard lan chipset try to borrow a pci lan card for test .

I will try new cable tomorrow, apperently the isp is having problems anyway so they’re fixing it tomorrow morning but as it’s only my pc I doubt is anything to do with the isp so I’ll wait till afternoon to try new cables and I think I have a pci lan card not 100, updated a load of drivers with the word pci lol I’ll just have to double check on device manager or smth
