really bad fps after updating cpu and mobo

so i recently got an Asus nvidia geforce gtx 1060 3gb gpu. I was able to run overwatch at a solid 60 fps on ultra, but my computer would shut down due to my cpu overheating. I decided it was time to update my cpu, so i bought an AMD ryzen 5 1600x and Asus strix b350 motherboard. Now when playing overwatch, my frames dip to 20-40 every so often. Can someone please tell me what the problem could be?

You didn't do a clean OS install. When you switch motherboards, you need to do a fresh OS install to get rid of the remnants of the old system.
