Really bad internet speed on my PC

Recently my PC has been just terrible with internet issues. I used to get around 30mbps down on speedtest.net. now its around 2.5mbps my phone still gets about 26mbps. I am and have been using a netgear powerline adapter for a while. At&t Uverse ISP, I really don't know what to do, I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to networking issues. every once and a while when im trying to browse i get a "default gateway not available" error.
Windows 10, no torrent software running in the background or steam downloads or anything. Scanned with Malwarebytes and it found no threats. I have an ASUS dark knight router. plz help me 🙁

Regardless of whether you're on a desktop or a laptop, you should try and uninstall and reinstall your networking adapter's drivers.

Well I got home from work and tested my speed avg about 15.2mbps on speedtest.net
If the problem persists in the future I will take your advice and let you know if it worked. Thank you for the reply!
