Hi, guys.

So, I can run all my games at max quality (Final Fantasy XIII, Tomb Raider 2013, Metal Gear Rising and so on) and Full HD 60 fps, but sometimes fps drops when the game seems to be loading battles, enemies, bosses, some long dialogue, also when stepping on checkpoints and savepoints. FPS drop really fast for less than one second and then goes back to normal. I made this short video showing some games. They're not heavy games, even in low quality, this same issue occurs. Any idea?

4GB RAM

Thanks.

Solution
If you get 4GB RAM this should be fixed. It's highly recommended to have atleast 8GB RAM for gaming. Otherwise you're going to run into problems like mentioned. So if you can, get another 4GB RAM stick that is identical to the specs of your current one.

With your build you should have 8GB RAM really. Good specs but RAM is simply 50% too low.

Solution
At first, I suspected about RAM. I'm going to improve it to 1x8GB, since I currently have 2x2GB and they're old. One additional question about it: having 1X8GB would present less perfomance than a dual channel 2x4GB? Also, do you think this one would satisfy my system, because of frequency? KINGSTON HYPERX FURY 8GB (1X8) 1866MHZ BLACK, HX318C10FB/8. My mobo is Gigabyte B85M-D3PH.

Could this issue be related to HD as well? Since checkpoints and savepoints make fps drop (I believe for the fact HD is being slow to search the files or so).

Thank you.

Yes dual channel ram would perform better but not by much, and thats not the problem its the 4gb ram. The ram you chose should be fine and at that speed be really fast.
