I recently noticed that my computer (brand new) has been running kind of slowly in the sense that webpages take longer to load, or just generally slower, along with the computer itself. I took a look at the memory usage and even when idle It's using at around 80% or more. I'm running a full system scan with Norton right now to check for a virus or something. Is there anything that could be causing this? Here's a picture of the task manager- http://imgur.com/SlIzNrj
If there's any other information needed then feel free to ask. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure they're just background processes. Most of them are running under 10,000 K (unless that's strange), and I have 8GB

im just surprised at the number... even when running 7-8 tabs from chrome, utorrent, raptor, teamspeak and lol started i barely pass 75 processes.
like i said - try to limit the background programs that are running and see if this helps
