HI all,
So i uninstalled all my nVidia drivers because I was going to install an XFX 5770 GPU. After I removed the nVidia card and plugged in the 5770, it would boot up until the windows splash screen. After this, my monitor would keep blinking on and off shifting from digital/analog/digital. I can go into the BIOS fine with no blinking but whenI try to boot into windows, my monitor would keep blinking. i cam using DVI and have tried the HDMI port too with no luck. Should I plug in the old GPU and install all the AMD drivers then try again?

Solution
It really looks like you have a bad card if everything is right. You need to have the AMD card in to install the drivers.
But anyway how did you uninstall the drivers? Correct way is going into device manager uninstall the old card (removes drivers) shut down, replace card, startup with new card and install drivers.

HI, thank you for responding at such a late time.
I will try this and get back to you.
Switching from gpu companies are a real pain...
