Really need some help with gaming monitors

I need to replace my old monitor well because it doesnt work anymore. I am looking to get one of the best gaming monitors available, but i am not sure what the differences between ips an tn is. So if anyone could help suggest some of the best monitors for gaming it would be greatly appreciated! (Oh and money isnt to much of an issue and I dont need 3d)
