Really Noisy 8800gt

Hi guys, my brother got from a friend of his an old Asus 8800gt. But the sound it makes on full load is really p#$$#ng him off (me too). He was considering buying a 3rd party/aftermarket cooler to bring the noise down, would that help, any suggestions?

yeah get a scythe musashi twin fan-vga cooler its super quite and brings temps on your card down by alot im sure you can find one on newegg for cheap
