Question really really confused about good OC results

Hello, I have a 1060 6GB GPU, I recently wanted to try overclocking.,, I didn't want to burn anything though so I went in small increments.
Firstly I increased my core clock, I got to the conclusion that 250+ is a good boost (now written 1960 MHz but fluctuates)
Then I tried to slowly increase my memory clock... anyways 15 minutes later I'm at +1000 MHz (now written 4799)
GPU temp white stress testing is 79, CPU is 46.
is this normal??

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Eight-Core Processor 3.70 GHz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
RAM: 16.0 GB

Make and model of your PSU? Got a link to the GPU you're working with? What app did you use to perform your overclock on the GPU? Make and model of your case and it's airflow? Ambient room air temps? What app did you stress the GPU with? How are temps when you're gaming?
