Hey everyone. Just seeing if I can get some insight as to why my internet has slowed down to a crawl in the last 2 days. I was playing a game and noticed my ping went up to around 100+ ms which is unusual since I normally get around 15-20. So I thought maybe it's just the game and went on the internet. It took about 5-10 minutes just for my home page to load. I did a power cycle and nothing changed. Tried a different router. No change. Tried scanning for viruses and spyware. Nothing found. Really just not sure how to remedy what's going on since it's so unusual for me. Ran a speed test just to see how slow it's become. I have a ping of only 35 ms. But my download speed is .06 and upload speed is .21. Any help to fix this problem is greatly appreciated

Please ensure you have your router communicating on a non congested wireless channel. You can go to the Google Play store and search for the Amped Wireless Wifi Analytics tool>download it>it will tell you the least congested channels to use as well as other tools.

You may also download the program called InSSIDer if you have a windows based laptop and it will also scan networks and provide the congestion data as well.

From there you would go to the following Router Control Panel area (general example-yours may vary):
More Settings>2.4Ghz Settings>Basic Settings>Select the channel that is the least congested>Apply
Do the same for the 5Ghz band as well.
