Sorry starting to get impatient now as my current AMD system is running too slow for multitasking and really want to upgrade. Would the following be a good upgrade or is their any parts I should swap out:

I will be reusing the other bits from my AMD setup as they are new and suited to the job. I will be gaming, streaming and possibly video editing in the future.

I know RYZEN is out in a couple of weeks but would it make much of a difference in performance. I know the price might change but that might not be for another couple of months.
If anyone can make it cheaper then please say.

Here are the prices for the R7 series. http://www.eteknix.com/amd-ryzen-uk-prices-leaked/. Definitely cheaper getting the R7 1700/1700x than the i7-7700k. The R5 and R3 series won't be out until Q2 and 2H respectively. So if you want to upgrade now, the R7 series is your only option when they release on March 2nd. Performance will be the same if not better. The biggest kick is you saving money.

I have multiple desktops open for university and i will be getting into streaming and gaming.I currently have two SSDs

I would seriously look into the Ryzen chips in your case. You may benefit from having more than 4C/8T.

I have been looking at the RYZEN and come up with this:
AMD Ryzen 7 Eight Core 1700X 3.80GHz (Socket AM4) Processor - Retail
Gigabyte GA-AB350-Gaming 3 AMD B350 (Socket AM4) DDR4 ATX Motherboard
Arctic Freezer 13 CPU Cooler - 92mm
Team Group Vulcan T-Force 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-19200C14 2400MHz Dual Channel Kit - Grey (TLGD416G24

Total price = £629

I think that would be a solid bet.

I am really undecided as it's the most i have ever spent on a PC as my current was a pre-build of AMD A6-5400K, Motherboard and ram and it just struggles with basic things. I am sort of new to pc building, i have been looking at it for years but only recently started to do it.

You could save $ by going with a regular 1700 (still overclockable if you wanted to) or a regular 6700/7700 and a H-series board. Turbo boost speeds should do enough for you.

In any case, I would wait at least a week for true benchmarks and reviews to come out of the Ryzen chips.

But yeah, I bet the A6 is struggling like crazy with that kind of workload.
