RealScene DVD Landclass Enhancement

Has anyone here tried the RealScene DVD landclass enhancement for the USA as
offered by Flight One? Is it any good and are scenery enhancement products
a good investment considering FS2006 may be on the way soon? These products
may not be compatible with the new version of FS. I would like scenery
enhancements which require little or no brainpower to deal with as I have
none to spare. I'm asking about RealScene; I'm aware of the other products
available.

Your thoughts are appreciated,
Arthur

Hey Arthur.. you can download the entire 48-state FSGenesis USA
mesh in 38m resolution from avsim.com if you have the bandwidth!!
It also pays to organize you scenery well. I found several mistakes
in the past few days and have straightened things out better.

http://library.avsim.net/search.php?CatID=root&SearchTerm=justin+tyme+mesh&Sort=Author&ScanMode=1

and Justin has entire USA land class (beta6) available here:

http://portal.fsgenesis.net/modules.php?op=modload&name=Downloads&file=index&req=viewdownload&cid=1

if you like the products then visit the FSG store for mesh covering
the rest of the world. if you want to go ahead with it as above and
would like assistance in setting up.. we can communicate offline.
However if you'd prefer the full DVD as described.. it will likely
have a setup shell making the process quick and easy. In any case
you'll be glad to have hi-res mesh.. it makes a BIG difference. :)

read you question again more carefully.. and see that it was about RS.
then.. the DVD scenery would most likely install quick and easy.. and
you'd be flying over it within minutes.

whatever you decide.. and for the others.. TWO full install paks are
possibly hidden in the last list. Rockies and West Coast.

http://library.avsim.net/search.php?SearchTerm=Justin+Tyme+full

that is to save from downloading all the individual component files..
and they're self installing.

John.. LOL... was saving that one for the right moment!!

"wanna' see some spreadsheets?"

In case you're serious.. maybe a SS could be used.. but not sure how
to parse the Layers. How about a new software!! SceneCAD ;)
It could be like the MSFS Scenery Menu only better and easier. Maybe
even a graphical layered display with icons to represent mesh, LC,
object groups, etc. Well.. haven't any programming skills really..
just a thought.

Hi Gregory,

.......and a Legend across the top of the Program screen that includes
"these green LC ones don't require a Textures sub-folder, and should be
placed above the relevant blue Mesh sub-folders in the Scenery list"......

Programming - isn't that what determines what's shown on TV each night?
