Realtek ALC892 VS Asus Xonar DSX

Should I stay on Realtek ALC892 or go get a Asus Xonar DSX for a better audio quality?

Quality will not be improved much. Onboard sound and a sound card is the same thing, just the card has a bigger AMP, which makes it louder. I would not waste my money unless you are doing movies or a video producer for a company or something, in which case, go for the ASUS.

The differences is quite significant. After I installed Asus Xonar DSX, I can hear the bass clearer. In Realtek ALC892, although the bass is quite strong but it's not as clear as Asus Xonar DSX. I would say it's not a significant improvement, but rather about 10-20% performance improvement.
