Had to restart my PC because PC froze. Upon restart the PC the audio control wasn't on my sound menu. I check the apps and features and the drivers are installed on my system.
I have re downloaded the Asus audio drivers and that also has not fixed the issue.

Would love to get this working as i am not a fan of my audio coming out of my monitor.

Further note - the Asus audio manager application and the sonic studio are not working because of the Realtek audio driver/control drivers not working.

Further note - in device manager one of the audio outputs has a error, the error is error 10 and that the device couldn't start correctly. Restarting PC does nothing

Hi.
Was wondering if someone could help me with an issue I am having with the Audio on my computer. I don't know if it is a windows 10 issue or a motherboard issue.

System Info:
CPU: Intel i7-6700k
Motherboard: Asus ROG Maximus VIII HERO
Ram: 16gb DDR5 Ram
SSD/HDD: 256gb SSD, 2tb HDD, 2tb HDD, 2tb HDD, 1tb HDD
GPU: Asus Strix GTX 1070
OS: Windows 10 Home

So as the title of the post suggests I am having an issue with audio being played out of my main speakers (Logitech Z333), sound can be played through headphones and monitors.
The speakers are plugged into the output on the back of the computer but does not show up in playback. I have changed to it the front output and no luck. The error occurred after my computer froze and I had to restart it.
The issue started on Saturday night and I have yet to fix it.
The drivers have been uninstalled and I have reinstalled the drivers from the Realtek website. This didn't fix the issue. Then I tried installing the Asus audio drivers for the official site. Installed the drivers and still hasn't worked.
I have managed to locate the driver disk for my motherboard and I have used that to download the drivers but it has constantly said that the drivers are not installed.

The drivers are installed on my system as you can see in the images below but they are not appearing under playback in the sound menu.
As of now, I am unsure if it is a Windows 10 issue or a Motherboard issue.

Would love help to sort this out as it would mean all audio has to go through my monitors and not my speakers.
