Question Realtek audio sound device code 45

I own a Lenovo Legion Y530-15ICH and a few days ago the sound stopped out of nowhere (speakers, jack, mic). Realtek Audio Device says code 45 / Hardware device is not connected.
I've tried reinstalling, installing both the latest and old drivers, reinstall OS and install it on a new drive, update BIOS, nothing worked. I'm beginning to believe it's a HW issue after all, however there have been a few instances of speakers etc. working after turning on the PC and then going out again. Any ideas on what to try next? I've found the motherboard schematic including the audio codec, do you think it's worth a try checking the electrical properties and find out it's not the chip? Thanks

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

When you state reinstalling the OS, what OS are you working with and where did you source the installer for said OS? Provided you're on the latest BIOS version for your laptop, did you install all relevant drivers for your platform, manually, in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator?

I use Windows 10 for the majority of the time, however I dual boot Ubuntu, where the audio device didn't work either. Yes, I have tried installing all drivers that way.
