Solution
Hello

Although unlikely, Windows might be trying to uninstall the default driver.

To resolve this, please Configure the OS Not to Update the Drivers Automatically, and then try uninstalling the driver.

If the issue persists, please Boot in Safe Mode and try again.

You may also want to temporarily disable the Windows Update service in the Services.msc snap-in, uninstall the driver, boot in Safe Mode, go to C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution folder, remove all its contents, and then try installing the driver again.

Please report back with the results if the solution doesn't work, and you need further assistance in this.

Cheers!!
