Hello guys,
You have solved uncountable problems I have encountered through many years. However today I found myself in a situation which I was unable to find a solution for. So here is my probem.

Today I upgraded my PC with a new SSD and installed win7 in it. Now I have 2 Disks with Win 7 on my PC.
When I boot the old Win 7 which is in my HD everything works perfectly.
However, when I boot the SSD Windows cant find the Realtek ethernet adapter, and when I install the latest driver it says that the adapter was not found.
I have tried almost all solutions I could find on the internet:
- booting only with the SSD
- reinstalling driver
- reseting cmos
- enabling and disabling lan in BIOS

I have a M5a 78L-M LX/BR motherboard

should I try to reinstall Windows 7?

I am fairly certain it has nothing to do with hardware, since I am posting this here logged on my HD with the same WIn7. I am completely puzzeled, please help

Solution
Yes, that is the best method of finding your driver when you do not know your motherboard or addon model number.

Just be sure to download this from a secure source when you do it. As in, from the original manufacturer's website.
