Question Realtek HD Audio install

I just finished building my pc today and I went to go install Realtek via my motherboards website. When I opened it up in filed, clicked on the ASIO folder and double clicked install it said "
the file or directory is corrupted and unreadable" then it says "destination file cannot be created." This is my first time building and am really confused if someone can help me. (it doesn't show up in device manager btw)

Do you see any sound devices in device manager? Until the proper driver is installed shows up it should appear as "High Definition Audio Device." As far as that file, it may just be a corrupt download. Delete the file and download it again.

What is the model of your motherboard?

I have the B450 Tomahawk Max with a Ryzen 5 3600

Well I downloaded and extracted the file with no issue. Have you had any other issues with the build so far? Just to be sure, have you restarted the PC (have to ask)?

What are the other specs?

I have not had any problems, yes I have restarted my PC. I checked in BIOS as well. These are my system specs.

You're installing the On-Board Drivers, Realtek High Definition Audio Driver right? That's the one I can't install.

Also what files are you clicking on to install them?

Yes, that driver. Have you downloaded and run any of the other drivers from MSI? What else have you done since building the system and installing Windows?

I've been playing some games and I've already installed all other drivers. I'm gonna be going to bed soon but I am going to try again in the morning.
