Realtek HD Audio Manager Advanced Settings are missing?

I recently purchased a Windows 8 Laptop (Toshiba), and I've been configuring my settings to how I like them. However, when I try to change the Audio Input/Output for plug-in headsets, I'd like to separate it from the default, built-in one. I know it's possible using the Realtek HD Audio Manager in the Advanced Settings, but from what I've seen, the Advanced Settings are not there. Is there any way to enable the Advanced Settings?

Whoops just realized what you we're asking perhaps you could to open it as administrator right click and select open as administrator. Advanced settings could be something only available to the admin of the pc (which is you just need your password to open as admin if it even prompts you for it)

I just tried that, but it doesn't give me the option to open as Administrator. If I right-click it, it asks if I want to plainly open or create a shortcut. I did try creating a shortcut and then right-clicking, but it did not provide "Run as Administrator" or anything of the like.

Dang I wish we had a Master on this thread right now LOL! A little more experience would help hmmm...let me see about asking a friend as soon as he returns assuming you don't get an answer by then hopefully I can get the right help!

It's Windows 8. Came with Windows 8 when bought from the store.

Would you recommend uninstalling the Driver and then installing the newer one? I've tried using the download there before, but I didn't uninstall the original driver.

Yes uninstall it then restart the laptop then if the OS doesn't attenpt to install the appropriate driver itself then use the link hopefully that will clear up the issue let me know how that works out for ya. Honestly software issues are tricky like that if the problem is overwritten with something new it may still continue with then issue often a clean removal and fresh install helps! Hope this works!

Hmm... No change. Maybe it's just not for my set up? Since I don't have the Front/Back Panel Options or the Digital Option.

Ah ha you actually answered your own question earlier I finally got to see the image and yes based on what you're showing it would seem that advanced settings would require you to enable digital output if you could try it then see if it comes up so we know for sure this way we can help others understand this issue that would be helpful. Sorry before I was trying to help based on what you said but couldn't get the images to show up.

I just have to figure out how to enable Digital Output. I'll poke around to see if I can find it~ If not, please let me know how. 😀
