Realtek HD Audio Manager connector settings missing

This has been a problem since I've purchased my notebook, every time I plug in any tipe of sound connector, like a headphone, realtek would say that i had plugged a connector, but it wouldn't show any options of what was the connector, like if it was a microfone, a headset, a headphone, it wasn't a problem beacause i only used headphones, but I purchase recently a headset with only one jack, because my notebook has only one entrance, so i though it would work, but it just works as a headphone and I've searched if i could work as a headphone, and a lot of people made videos showing how to make your PC recognize your cellphone's phone as a headset, and my headset works as a headset in my cellphone, i can use both phones and the microfone, and in the tutorials they show something called connector settings on the manager, and this connector setting doesn't appear in my manager, is there a way to anable it?

Perhaps your notebook only supports connecting headphones without microphone in that jack. Have you checked the specifications for you notebook?

On the box it came in, in the users guide/manual you should have received with it, on the Internet by Googling the make and model together with the word "specification".
