[SOLVED] Realtek Network Adapter Gone on W7 Install

Did a fresh install of windows on an old PC and now i have no networking options. Im aware that drivers need to be installed for hardware to function properly, but when I go into device manager all I see is WAN connections. I have clicked show hidden devices, and also checked the other tab in device manager. Nothing yeilds anything to do with realtek, which the driver is for. Pretty stumped. MOBO is an emachine MCP73VT-PM

Since your MB does not show a WAN card, it's likely Windows loaded a WAN driver for your LAN. http://www.findlaptopdriver.com/specs-pm-mcp73vt/ Best bet would be to install the Realtec LAN driver and hopefully it will sort itself out. If not uninstall the WAN driver (after loading the LAN driver) and reboot your PC.
