After transferring the parts from an old case to a new one my LAN connection stopped working. After googling the issue I tried installing the Realtek Ethernet Controller Driver but was given an error stating "The Realtek Network Controller was not found. If Deep Sleep mode is enabled Please Plug the Cable". Going into my BIOS I found that Deep Sleep mode is disabled. I've tried resetting my BIOS, removing the RAM and unplugging the power supply for a day, reinstalling Windows 10 no luck. Could the transferring of parts might have damaged the Ethernet port? I'm sure I was careful disassembling the computer. Could I have passed enough current to fry the port? Checking my Device Manager>Network Adapters there is only WAN Miniport adapters even after showing hidden devices.
