I recently did a fresh install of Windows 7, and once installed I couldn't connect to the internet. I went in to device manager and noticed that my device list didn't show network adaptors, but it does show ethernet controller with a yellow caution under 'other devices'. So I then tried to reinstall my LAN drivers from ASUS (Motherboard: H97-PLUS). However, when it "finishes" installing an error pops up and says "The realtek Network Controller was not found. If deep sleep mode is enabled Please plug the cable."

Before the fresh install my computer was connected to the internet with no problem.

Thanks for any replies!

Go to the manufacturer website of the computer you have and install the internet drivers from there. Since your not able to access the internet on your pc now you may have to use another computer to download the drivers then put them on a USB Drive to install on the computer.
