Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller (CODE 10)

Hi,

Yesterday night I was using my desktop (windows 10) and it was all good. This morning I wake up and turn on my computer and it doesnt connect to the internet via ethernet cable. I tried uninstalling the drivers, rebooting the computer, reinstalling it, and several other online help which i found online, but nothing worked.

I get an orange triangle with an explanation point (!) in the triangle next to the Title in the drop down menu of Network adapters in device manager.

If someone has figured out a way to fix this, would be great.

how do you connect to internet

via a switch, a router? directly to a modem?

do you set a static ip on the pc?

try another port on the router. from another pc download intel chipset drivers and reinstall them. also look in your bios make sure no one changed the ethernet chipset settings in the bios.
