Realtek RTL8188CE connection issues

Hello I just upgraded my mobo, ram, and cpu however my WiFi adapter is a Realtek RTL8188CE Wireless LAN 802.11n PCI-E NIC. Anyways my problem is that I can connect to the internet whatsoever as in my computer is acting as if my WiFi adapter isn’t plugged it’s pci e slot (which it is) and the WiFi adapter has two lights on it one that says LINK and one that says PWR. The PWR light is one but the link is not. Any help would be appreciated thanks

if it an older mb go into the bios turn off the onboard ethernet see if the wifi card come on. if it does turn the onboard port on then click on disable see if the new ethernet comes on.
