To whom it may concern,
I have been trying to sort this issue out for a while now. Recently, my speakers stopped functioning properly. The hardware is fine as I tested my speakers with different devices and they work properly. When connecting my speakers to the rear audio jack, no sound is detected. When connecting to front audio jacks, they work fine but this is not the intended setup. Oddly enough, when speakers are connected to rear audio jack and headphones are plugged into front audio jacks, sound will output from speakers. I have updated audio drivers to their newest version. Troubleshooting steps involving enabling/disabling 'playback' devices is unavailable to me as the only visible (even when ticking show disabled/disconnected playback devices) are the speakers connected to front audio jacks. I am truly at a loss for how to reconcile this issue. I will be so grateful if someone can provide insight to this issue.
Thank you kindly for taking the time to support.
