Rear Audio Ports Not Working

Essentially, I screwed by front ports up my tripping on my headset cord breaking the port. So I went to try use the rear audio ports, but they don't seem to work. The rear audio ports didn't work on my last computer which is making me wonder whether or not I have to set something up etc.

custom pc motherboard:
Asus Maximus Viii hero

You'll need the audio driver from ASUS' web site:

Realtek Audio Driver V6.0.1.7629(SonicSuite V2.2.16) for Windows 7 32bit & 64bit / 8.1 64bit / 10 64bit.
